The aim of this Institute is to bring together experts in higher-order computations, with a particular emphasis on perturbative QCD. Theoretical progress and development of new techniques for NLO and NNLO calculations, and their matching to parton showers, will be discussed. The practical applications of those techniques and their phenomenological implications will also be considered.
